“When people look at my pictures I want them to feel the way they do when they want to read a line of a poem twice.” - Robert Frank
I am inspired by paintings, music, books, movies, and especially by poetry.
My unconditional love for photography was born when I started taking self-portraits. I was 15 years old (2009) and I did felt the need to take self portraits because I thought that what I had to say could be better understood with a picture. My friends, parents and relatives found my works very interesting and this encouraged me to keep on taking them. I received my uncle’s Nikon a little later and I gave that camera a great sentimental value.
In 2012 I began watermarking my work with the pseudonym «Dalidaria», which came from a poem I wrote back in those days (I love writing too!).
I graduated in Photography at Istituto Italiano di Fotografia in Milan and then I started to work as a photographer and a retoucher in the city.
I love travelling and meeting new people, especially if they have something to tell me.
