“When people look at my pictures I want them to feel the way they do when they want to read a line of a poem twice.” - Robert Frank
I am inspired by paintings, music, books, movies, and especially by poetry.
My unconditional love for photography was born when I started to take self-portraits. I was 15 years old (2009) and my parents gave me my first mobile phone with a camera. I was passionate about the dark and gothic style, my photos were all mysterious and obscure self-portraits taken with that phone. My friends, parents and relatives found my pictures very interesting and this encouraged me to keep on taking them. I received my uncle’s Nikon few time later and I gave that camera a great sentimental value. During the high school, people started asking me for personal photo shootings.
In 2012 I began watermarking my work with the pseudonym «Dalidaria», which came from a poem I wrote back in those days (I love writing too!).
